Book Town is Moving

Book Town is not closing

Since January 16, 2009 Book Town has been committed to assisting writers (as well as future writers) by providing useful information on marketing and promoting their work worldwide.  As we approach our 9th anniversary we have faced the fact that our current platform has not allowed us to keep pace with the various social media and information sites on the internet.

Book Town is not closing, in fact, we are growing by migrating to a venue that will allow us to better continue our original mission.  By eliminating pages that are rarely used and adding new features Book Town will become more user-friendly.

Our decision to transfer to a more flexible platform has come with a few growing pains. As is the case with any move things tend to get lost.  Moving an entire town, even a virtual town is not easy. Please be patient. We encourage you to take some time over the next week or two to begin moving any post or photos from the old site that did not transfer over automatically. You will also have to send new friend requests.

Some members have moved over but we would like everyone to continue with us.
If you did not receive an e-mail reset password please contact the Deputy Mayor and she will reset your password.
Thank you for your support and contributions. We look forward to the new year and the new Book Town.
