Booktown residents have impact in KILLER RECIPES

Booktown residents have impact in KILLER RECIPES
(Re-post from Susan Whitfield's blog)

Booktown residents certainly had an impact on the newly-released cookbook, KILLER RECIPES. I wanted to personally thank each Booktown member who submitted recipes for the cause:

Allan Azouz submitted Bourekas de Spinaka y Kezo and I can hardly wait to try it. Sounds scrumptious!
I can already tell you that Maggie Bishop's Twisted Pimiento Cheese is to die for.

D.K. Christi's Reckless Sailor's Key Lime Dip is easy and delightfully refreshing.

Mary Deal's Stuffed-in-the-Trunk Mushrooms are delicious and have gotten quite a few comments. LOL.

Kathleen Delaney sent her Decadent Applesauce Cake and I can tell you it's wonderful.

Jodi Diderrich's Sliced Sweet Potato Apple Bake is sitting on my kitchen counter right now. Can't wait to dig in.

I plan to try Christy Tillery French's Split Banana Cake soon.

Betty Gordon submitted Breakfast Before Mayhem, and it's a wonderful brunch dish.

Lynette Hall Hampton's Chilling Corn Salad is a must-try.

Caitlyn Hunter's Wicked Strawberry Pie lives up to its name.
You simply must have some of Stacy Juba's Terrormisu. Ha! What a fun name, and it's chocolate!
In the mood for soup?

Try James Mascia's Malevolent Buffalo Chicken Soup and add the Buffalo wing sauce and Blue Cheese to get more kick.

Leave it to Anne Patrick to send More Thrilling Than Sex Cake. YUMMM!

Jacqueline Seewald's Killer Cornbread is delicious!
Morgan St. James offered Deadly Sisters Blueberry Breakfast Bake, and I can testify that it won't kill you because I stuffed myself with it...more than once))

Marta Stephens submitted Flamed Indiana Fried Cabbage and my husband loves it.
And have you tried Loretta Wheeler's Malicious Mosquito Toast? No, not made with real moquitoes, but raisins.

I added a few recipes of my own, including Brittle Bones (actually peanut brittle).

The cookbook makes a lively conversation piece as well as offering great recipes from appetizers to main dishes and sides, to devilish desserts. It's available in print, ebook, and Kindles formats. Order some today for yourself and for gifts. The proceeds go to The American Cancer Society.
